The McGregor Ministerial Alliance will be hosting the third annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 30, from 6:00-8:30 p.m. in the First National Bank parking lot. Several have signed up to decorate their trunks for this fun event, but there is plenty of room for more. If you're unable to decorate your trunk but would still like to help, lots and lots of candy is needed. Donations can be brought to the church office through Thursday, the 30th, or dropped off at the event from 5:00 on. This is always a fun event, and we hope to see you there!
NEW SERMON SERIES
Pastor Terry's new sermon series to begin September 21:
Living Life Upside Down
Matthew 5:1-12 from The Message
For many, the Beatitudes are merely wisdom sayings that reflect an outdated and passive system of living. But for the committed follower of Jesus, the Beatitudes reflect a timeless wisdom that helps one understand how to live life upside down. While the values and ethics of the sayings are not valuable in this world, they hold supreme importance to those who reside in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Join us each week as we take on the Beatitudes from Eugene Peterson’s The Message and discover a fresh perspective on living life upside down.
